![]() Gail Hudson’s features and personal essays about parenting and natural health have appeared in numerous publications, including Parents, Child, Self, Utne, Natural Health, and Good Housekeeping. Her other books include Harvest for Hope: A Guide to Mindful Eating, which she wrote with renowned scientist Dr. Jane Goodall, and Child Magazine’s Guide to Quarreling, a book on sibling rivalry. For many years Gail was Spirituality Editor at Amazon.com, writing book reviews and interviewing authors for the website. Gail teaches classes and workshops on personal narrative and memoir writing. She is also a writing coach for numerous book writers. She lives in Seattle with her husband Hal and 14-year-old son Tennessee, and talks almost daily to her 19-year-old daughter Gabrielle in college. |
![]() Faith Conlon was the publisher of the independent book publishing company Seal Press for more than twenty years before becoming a freelance editor and writer. Among the many authors she has edited are Barbara Kingsolver, Evelyn C. White, Sarah Schulman, Elizabeth Nunez, Holly Morris, Barbara Sjoholm, and Flor Fernandez Barrios. Her books include the anthologies A Woman Alone: Travel Tales from Around the Globe, Gifts of the Wild: A Woman’s Book of Adventure and The Things That Divide Us. Her newest book is Go Your Own Way: Women Travel the World Solo, forthcoming in 2007. She is mom to a seventh-grader (Connor) and stepmom to a daughter (Erin) and son (Scott) now in their twenties. She lives in Seattle with Connor and her husband John. |
